Elizabeth Skarpnes is a lifelong writer who is finally putting words to the page. Her works explore themes of trust, experiencing new cultures, and leaving home for the first time through the lens of powerful female characters.

She is a writer by necessity, developmental editor by passion, and nurse by trade. She owns the Second Cup Writers Cafe, a community for writers to connect with others and make friends.

Located in the United States, she grew up on the southeast coast and currently lives in the New England area with her husband and three cats.
